Our Technology
Right-Fitting Educational IT
Past efforts to bring technology to such educational environments has been hampered by system-related issues, and also by the challenge of right-fitting the IT and training to the particular learning environment where it was being deployed. EQLP employs engineering design principles to help ensure that each system delivers the appropriate level of services within the context of the unique requirements of the school environment, the educators and most importantly for enabling the success of the students.

Empowering Schools

Quality Education for All
EQLP is dedicated to transforming education in Rwanda and Tanzania. Through innovative technology solutions like Raspberry Pi computers and RACHEL servers, we provide sustainable and affordable offline education to underserved classrooms. Our focus is on empowering schools with digital learning tools and open educational resources (OER) to ensure quality education reaches every child, regardless of their circumstances.
RACHEL/Microbit and Raspberry Pi
Children educated in rural areas of emerging nations are especially challenged in this regard. But recent advances in micro-computers, Microbit and Raspberry Pi) local learning networks (RACHEL), and low-cost solar power units, provide the components for building stand-alone digital learning platforms in nearly any location. These developments hold the potential for bridging the digital divide on a scale never before possible.
